The Message.
Bees Pollinate over 75% of the crops that feed us, so first understand that we need the bees. One in three bites of our food depends on bees. They pollinate everything from apples to almonds and berries.
Honey is the bonus that we get to share, when we care for the bees. Pollution, pesticides and habitat loss are killing the bees and disrupting ecosystems. We need to stop it and not just for the bees.
We will donate 10 % of the sale proceeds of our bee garments to buying bee hives and placing them in the Msasa woodlands, around our printing barn. Thus giving some of our African bees a secure home. We will post monthly progress reports on how they progress, here on our website.
One of our favourite prints is the Humble Bees, we have a special spot for bees and on Bee Day we are hoping to make a difference. Bees are having a tough time out there and we want to bring this to everyones' attention.
Sharing knowledge and awareness is the best way to solve the problem and wearing bees is an excellent way to start.
We have made beautiful Humble Bee printed cottons into trousers. You can choose from our range and we will make them for you and post them to you so that you have them to wear this summer. It will take about a month to make them and get them to the UK. with our other orders that will leave then.
