How this African Adventure Began: Our Garage Story
​Before the farm, before the festivals, there was a garage, a few good friends, and a table tennis table, moonlighting as our first screen-printing.
In the late '80s, Zimbabalooba was born from a simple idea: to create clothing that is the wild, free spirit of Africa, while being comfortable yet durable enough to last the adventure that is life.

Our 'Go with the Flow' philosophy has always been our compass. Our brand dates back to the begining of a new country, Zimbabwe. As Zimbabwe thrived, so did Zimbabalooba. A garage table tennis table evolved into a thatched printing shed on a farm in Africa.
Our legendry trousers, the Verts are our original garment, different in a lot of ways and designed to jump out of the crowd and the sky, in some cases.
Extraordinary people, doing extraordinary things, need something to wear. Zimbabalooba has that unique Afro-Funtastic flair.
